Information Regarding the Coronavirus

As you may know, veterinary hospitals across the nation have overcome countless obstacles in their efforts to remain open despite the challenges of the pandemic. Safety measures, combined with staffing shortages, have forced us to find new ways to connect with our clients and ensure we can continue to accommodate the healthcare needs of our patients. We would like to acknowledge our team for their incredible resilience and commitment to the care of our patients throughout this trying time. We would also like to thank those of you that have expressed your gratitude and support over the past year. It truly means the world to us!

Effective June 15th, we will be offering in-person appointments again. For these appointments, we ask that you only have one healthy adult accompany the pet into the building. We understand that life circumstances may not allow you to come alone; so if you need to be accompanied by your kids, we can continue with our curbside protocol so that you can remain in the car safely with them.

While many of our staff have been vaccinated, some have not for a variety of personal or medical reasons, and many staff members have family members that aren’t eligible for vaccination. In order to safeguard our families, we will require masks for all clients who enter the building, regardless of vaccination status. We ask that you please respect our rules. If you choose not to wear a mask once you are in the building, you will kindly be asked to leave. If you do not have a face mask upon arrival, we will have disposable face masks available for you to use.

For those of you who prefer the “curbside” model of appointments, we will continue to offer this service as well as drop off appointments.

Technician appointments, as well as food and medication, pick up will continue to be curbside.

We will be closely monitoring circumstances as well as our county’s health department and CVMA’s (California Veterinary Medical Association) safety guidelines. Please understand that as we gradually welcome clients back inside our hospital, we will still be taking precautions to minimize the number of people in the building at any given time. For now, our lobby will continue to be closed. We ask that you still call or text when you arrive. If you choose to come inside, someone will escort you and your pet directly into the exam room.

Please keep in mind that this process may continue to take longer than you are accustomed to.

We appreciate your support and loyalty this past year, and we cannot wait to see you all again!
